


Antique Sterling Silver Double Albert Watch Chain

- Circa 1924.
- Sterling silver curb linked double Albert watch chain.
- Sterling double-sided pierced medal in the form of a banner mounted shield.
- Pillowed central shield cartouche on both sides. One side is flashed with rose gold; on the flip side, all silver.
- Medal has maker's mark of HH with registration number.
- Hallmarks: On each link, dog clip, t-bar, a lion passant denotes sterling silver. Lower case "z" found on the swivels/dog clips and t-bar denotes production in 1924. "HP" maker's mark found on the swivels and t-bar shows there have been no alterations. HP was Henry Pope, a prolific Birmingham silversmith in business from the 1880s until the early 1900s.
